The Small Business Practice LLM curriculum was developed by leading legal experts, and specially designed using materials that emphasize practice and always include coverage of current topics and issues affecting start-up enterprises and small firms. Courses are taught by practitioners and academics alike, blending practice with theory and emphasizing skills designed to enhance professional competence. The unique curriculum emphasizes in-depth, practical knowledge of the legal issues unique to small business, assisting lawyers who seek to expand the reach and quality of legal services to small businesses and become more competitive with large firms.
The online LLM allows Concord Law School to draw talent from around the country to develop and teach the program. The LLM team includes program developers and the course directors, who also teach the courses, as well as an Advisory Board consisting of attorneys who have a special affinity for and interest in the small business client.
