About the Concord LLM

A potential client is facing employee benefits issues, needs a new lease for one of her stores, has personal and business tax concerns, does not have a succession plan for the thriving business she started 2 years ago, and has on-going problems with e-commerce transactions. Do you have the skills to serve her well?

A New Kind of LLM Makes Earning the Credential Practical.

The Small Business Practice LLM is a part-time program designed for practicing attorneys and recent graduates who seek to further develop their skills and knowledge to better serve small business clients. The core set of required courses are developed with a practical focus to cover the issues often faced by small business clients and taught by a rich mix of practitioners and academics. The courses blend practice with theory, emphasizing skills to enhance professional competence.

The LLM covers the subsets of law and business seldom addressed in law school through courses with familiar titles and subjects but very different in focus and content, and carefully tuned to small business.

The curriculum design takes advantage of the sophisticated functionality of the Concord Learning Management System (LMS) to preserve the interactivity of a traditional classroom program complete with live classes, while also providing 24-7 accessibility.
